She claimed that strangers and police personnel repeatedly visited their residence, forcing them to leave their rented accommodation in Noida. The girl’s mother had earlier appealed to Prime Minister Modi to forgive her daughter and requested that the case be withdrawn. Prime Minister Modi later said that students who made offensive remarks against him should be guided rather than punished, stating that he had forgiven them.
