Morehead City jumped out to an early lead before the home team responded. Sharks first baseman Blake Carter sparked the comeback with a home run over the left-field fence, helping shift the momentum. The Sharks completed the rally and held on for the Game 1 victory. The series now moves to Morehead City for Game 2, which is scheduled for Wednesday night.
