Stalker who repeatedly called and visited victim sentenced
['James Thomas']
Hereford Times | News
Russell Maund entered a guilty plea to one count of stalking without fear, alarm, or distress when he appeared before magistrates in July.
The court heard that Maund had pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a woman in Hereford between December 4, 2025 and January 26 this year.
The 40-year-old had repeatedly called her and attended her address throughout the period, Hereford magistrates heard.
Maund, who gave a care of address in south Herefordshire, was handed a community order and must complete a 12-month mental health treatment programme.
He was handed a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim or visiting their address, fined £150 and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
