Jorden Mitchell Hansen, 31 and currently at HMP Altcourse, pleaded guilty to two charges of driving above the legal limit for drugs at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday. It relates to an incident on April 7 this year when he was stopped by Cheshire Police in Rossmore Road in Ellesmere Port. A drug test was undertaken and Hansen returned results of 65mcg per litre of blood for cocaine with a legal limit of 10mcg. He also tested positive for the cocaine breakdown Benzoylecgonine, recording a result of 400mcg – eight times the legal limit. Solicitor Catherine Davies said that Hansen was facing other issues at Wrexham Magistrates Court and recommended any sentencing exercise to be completed after those matters are concluded.
