Moon Hunt, an independent featurette produced by Blackfriar Pictures, was filmed across Furness and the Lake District, using locations including Haverthwaite, Hawkshead Church, Borrowdale, Lowick and the Roxy Cinema in Ulverston.
The film follows a young couple in a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a werewolf and the hunter pursuing it.
Samuel McEwan, director and Dalton-in-Furness native, said: "It's been great to make a film in the area we grew up in.
"We've been fortunate to shoot in some fantastic locations across Furness and the Lake District, and the support from local people and businesses has been invaluable throughout production.
Moon Hunt tells the story of a chance encounter in the Lake District that triggers a deadly chase.
