Friends of the Lake District is seeking sites in Cumbria for hedge planting and restoration as part of its Hedges and Edges project. The scheme focuses on planting new hedges, filling in gaps, and restoring overgrown or depleted hedgerows to improve biodiversity and support wildlife. Friends of the Lake District is also surveying hedgerow biodiversity and training volunteers to carry out hedge surveys for landowners.
