The Minnesota State High School League will push back both the girls and boys state basketball tournaments one week in 2027 due to venue availability. The Target Center will be hosting first and second round NCAA Men’s Basketball National Tournament games from March 18-21. The MSHSL girls basketball state tournament will now be scheduled for March 24-27. The MSHSL boys basketball state tournament will be played from March 31-April 3. Both state basketball tournaments will be played primarily at Williams Arena.
