A man has been arrested after armed police locked down a street in Fife. Emergency services descended upon a property on Byron Street in Methil at around 1.15pm on Tuesday. Armed police, alongside negotiators, were pictured in attendance and had erected a cordon on the street. A 45-year-old man has been arrested and taken to hospital for assessment. “Officers, including firearms officers and negotiators, attended and a 45-year-old man was later arrested and taken to hospital for assessment.”
