The Ness City Rollers are hosting the Highlands’ first ever quad skate festival in September (file image). Roller skating enthusiasts from across Scotland are set to flock to Inverness for the Highlands’ first festival dedicated entirely to quad skating. The Skate Ness Quad Skate Festival, which is being hosted by the Ness City Rollers, promises a packed weekend of skating, learning and community, and will be welcoming skaters of all ages (18+) and abilities when it takes place from September 4 to 6. The festival programme includes everything from jam skating workshops, artistic skating workshops and skatepark workshops, to outdoor group skates around the Highlands and even a festival disco. “Whether you’re a beginner quad skater or have years of experience, Skate Ness has something for everyone,” said a spokesperson for Ness City Rollers.
