BANNA Ceoil Chloich Cheann Fhaola is celebrating 40 years since their first All-Ireland success and 10 Years of the senior band. Alongside them are a new generation of musicians, with many of those members now watching their own children proudly represent the band in the Cloughaneely Junior Marching Band – a wonderful reflection of a tradition that has been passed from one generation to the next. What was intended as a one-off celebration reignited a passion for music, leading to the reformation of the Senior Band. As the band marks 10 years since the Senior Band was reformed, both the Senior Band and Cloughaneely Junior Marching Band are preparing to travel to Belfast to defend their All-Ireland titles.
