BC Quorum Court passes all agenda items; hears pitch for AI under water body recovery device

In a meeting lasting just over 36 minutes the Baxter County Quorum Court passed all agenda items unanimously Tuesday evening.
Baxter County Coroner Sam Seamans updated justices on a new piece of technology his office has been evaluating.
With support from Baxter County Judge Kevin Litty and several other justices, the proposal is expected to be considered by the Budget Committee on Aug. 18.
In action items, justices passed an appropriation totaling $632,973.52 in reimbursable state grant funds for the Baxter County Airport.
Also, resolutions confirming the reappointment of Cindy Blankenship to the Gamaliel Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners and the appointment of Beth Vanderstek to the Baxter County Library Board were passed.
