Team Branson won six straight games over the course of five days of games and completed its 2026 Babe Ruth World Series run with a 4-1 loss to Chinese Taipei in the championship game on Tuesday afternoon in Missouri. Taipei held a 3-0 lead before Branson got on the scoreboard with a single run on a double from Wyatt Mabe’s double to score Miller McCoy. Branson had its chances to score when Jagger Wilson hit a lead-off double to right field to start the top of the second, but Taipei was able to turn a double-play. With two out, Mabe singled to right, Beau West walked to put two runners on base, but a ground out ended the threat. Team Branson finishes as the 2026 Babe Ruth World Series runners-up.
