Officers used a taser and the dog was safely contained after the incident in East Ayton, near Scarborough, at 3pm on Tuesday (August 4). North Yorkshire Police said two people sustained minor injuries from the dog during the incident. The dog was taken to secure kennels and is “fit and well with no injuries”, the force. A police spokesperson said there is “not believed to be any ongoing risk to the wider public at this time”.
