Noel Edmonds has responded to the criticism he's faced online over a clip which showed him buying live lobsters from the supermarket to release into the sea.
The presenter took to Instagram to share a defeated post following the criticism, where he told his followers he was 'off to bed'.
On Tuesday, Noel shared a video that showed himself and his wife Liz releasing the lobsters they'd purchased into the water.
He said the lobsters were caught near Peel by a local, young shellfish fisherman, who he had wanted to support.
One said: 'Lovely sentiment, but from a marine biologist perspective it's best not to release captive lobsters.
