Under the health-led model, people who call triple zero during a mental health crisis would be connected with mental health clinicians who will assess their needs, provide immediate assistance and connect them with further support.
Two of the recommendations, including providing specialised accommodation for people experiencing mental health issues and homelessness, were accepted in-principle, with alternate approaches taken.
