A man who tried to engage in sexual communication with a child was caught with hundreds of indecent pictures and videos of children, and an image depicting bestiality. Joshua Starks (31), of Calmore Drive, Calmore, faces crown court sentencing after an appearance before Southampton magistrates when he admitted a string of charges. Joshua Starks appeared at Southampton Magistrates' CourtThe court heard that Starks tried to encourage a young boy under 16 to make a sexual communication with him between 9th and 10th October 2024. The four image charges which Starks admitted all relate to offences committed in Southampton on 4th January 2025. Granted unconditional bail, he is due to be sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on 14th September.
