The most commonly reported type of crime was 'violence and sexual offences', reported 271 times and accounting for 34.7 per cent of all crimes. These crime type categorisations come from the police data, which classifies reported crimes according to 14 different types. The fourth most reported crime type in Wokingham in June was 'public order' offences, which made up 8.3 per cent of the total with 65 reports. The sixth most common crime type in Wokingham in June was vehicle crime, reported 52 times and accounting for 6.7 per cent of the total.
