If Rebecca and Richmond won’t take the women’s team seriously, why would they expect the town to? So far, while Ted Lasso is still funny and charming, it’s hard to escape the fact that the writers are treating the lady players this season exactly like all of Richmond is treating them. The show is called Ted Lasso and not AFC Richmond or The Lady Greyhounds, and in that, it relies on Ted. The problem though is that Ted Lasso was never only about Ted.
