The Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford has applied for a premises licence for its latest city redevelopment, of Osney Power Station. The Old Power Station has been a distinctive landmark in West Oxford since it opened in 1892, as the city's first electrical plant. "The Saïd Business School has carefully preserved the historic building wherever possible by reusing heritage infrastructure, using resources responsibly, and thoughtful design and operations. "The Global Leadership Centre will represent the next stage in the university’s tradition of developing leaders."
