Local businesswoman raises funds for skincare products for hospice patients

Charly Owen, owner of The Calm Edit, Dalston based beauty, cosmetic and personal care started the fundraiser in memory of two of her grandparents who died of cancer.
She noted that her grandmother struggled with dry hands and feet throughout her cancer treatment - a common side effect among cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Ms Owen’s grandfather was cared for by Eden Valley Hospice at the end of his life, a service she hasn't forgotten.

“It was just a lovely, lovely environment, and obviously the circumstances aren't nice around when somebody's dying, but they're just so comforting.
