The court heard Errington - age 54 – was fined for a similar drunk and disorderly offence in April this year. Errington, who could not be legally represented due to the minority of the charge, told magistrates: "I do not have an issue with alcohol." When asked by the court legal advisor if she was working, the defendant confirmed she worked as a care assistant. Magistrates ordered Errington, of Boundary Road, Carlisle, to pay a band C fine of £220. They also told her to pay mandatory court costs of £85 and an £88 victim surcharge.
