Mothers’ Union members from across Lancashire will gather at Blackburn Cathedral on Saturday, August 8, to commemorate 150 years of the organisation. "The 150th anniversary gives us an opportunity to reflect with gratitude on the dedication of generations of members who have helped the Mothers’ Union become the worldwide and local movement it is today." Also expected to attend are the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen, and the York Provincial Mothers’ Union President.
