Proposed measures include planting at least 14 new trees, creating 70 metres of native hedgerow and enhancing remaining grassland areas through wildlife-friendly management. Flood risk assessments submitted with the application state the site lies within Flood Zone 1, the lowest flood risk category, and is not in an area identified as being at risk from surface water or groundwater flooding.
