Lancashire County Council will carry out repair works to help protect and maintain Gisburn Mill Bridge for the future. Work will include installing scour protection measures around the bridge support in the River Ribble. Built in the 18th century and serving Gisburn Road into Mill Lane, the bridge is Grade-II listed. "We understand this may cause some disruption and thank you for your patience while we carry out these essential improvements. A full road closure will be in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.
