Mr Lacey said: "People have a look because they are curious and that's really not helpful. We just do not need the public walking around a fire ground with their trainers on. "I spotted members of the public walking through the fire devastation scene. Speaking to this paper, Mr Lacey made reference to 'disaster tourism', which is the practice of traveling to sites affected by natural or man-made catastrophes. Despite describing the incident as "stabilised", Mr Lacey stressed the emergency was "far from over".
