The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has reopened the city’s only multi-storey parking plaza at Fawara Chowk after keeping it sealed for 20 days over unpaid dues of Rs. The authority has taken direct control of the facility and introduced a self-collection system, with RDA staff now managing daily operations and parking revenue. The parking plaza was sealed on July 12. The closure also caused inconvenience for motorists in the busy Fawara Chowk area, as the plaza is Rawalpindi’s only dedicated multi-storey parking facility.
