Dubai: An Indian expatriate from Kerala was killed in a gas cylinder explosion at a car showroom in Dubai, according to a media report. Shijin Paul, 27, from Kerala’s Kollam district, died after an explosion on Monday at a car showroom at Sheikh Zayed Road, the Gulf News newspaper reported. According to the Dubai Media Office, one person was killed and five others were injured in Monday’s explosion. Dubai Civil Defence teams are responding to an incident caused by a gas cylinder explosion at a car showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, resulting in one fatality and five injuries. Paul worked as the social media manager at the car showroom where the explosion took place, the report added.
