Christopher Luxon Defends Using Air Force Flight After Attending National Party FundraiserCraig McCulloch Deputy Political EditorChristopher Luxon is defending his use of an Air Force flight after attending a National Party fundraiser, saying he has a "busy job" and "full schedule".
Labour on Wednesday accused the prime minister of using the Defence Force as a "personal taxi service" for campaigning purposes.
Luxon flew from Whanganui to Auckland on a six-seater NZDF King Air plane on the evening of 23 July after attending a National Party fundraising dinner.
He said instead Luxon appeared to be using the Defence Force like a "personal taxi service".
"Air force planes should not be used to support that."
