The High Court of Justice has halted the transfers of money approved in the Knesset Finance Committee yesterday. Justice Alex Stein issued a temporary injunction today holding back the transfers of money approved in yesterday’s session, except for transfers relating to emergency civilian expenditure. The court was responding to a petition against the proceedings of the Finance Committee filed by MK Na’ama Lazimi (Democrats) and the Hiddush Organization for Religious Freedom and Equality. The committee was also asked to approve transfers amounting to hundreds of millions of shekels to various programs. Published by Globes, Israel business news - en.globes.co.il - on August 5, 2026.
