Texas A&M football welcomes the return of the Red, White and Blue Game to Kyle Field on Saturday, Sept. 12, in honor of America’s 250th birthday.
The history of this themed game traces back to Sept. 22, 2001, when students organized a tribute to honor the victims of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
A&M brought the game back for the 2021 season to mark the 20-year anniversary of the event in its season opener against Kent State.
All attendees of the game will be able to purchase “Standing for America” shirts in red, white or blue depending on each person’s assigned deck.
This celebration of America kicks off Saturday, Sept. 12 against Arizona State, with kickoff slated for 11 a.m.
