He was caught riding a bicycle on a trail on West Gordon Street and arrested on an unrelated warrant. VPD, Valdosta Fire Department first responders and South Georgia Medical Center Emergency Medical Services all responded to the call. First responders found two areas of the woods engulfed in flames, both appearing to be homeless camps, and quickly doused the fires. The man is in critical condition, while the woman is stable and has since been transferred to another hospital for further treatment. Detectives and crime scene personnel are investigating and asked for information on Calloway’s whereabouts as a suspect.
