In the first instance, Colby spoke with the German Chief of Defence and the local Political Director. As the Department of War kicks off our Europe Posture Review, we are continuing regular, detailed consultations with our allies and partners. In this case, the talks were reportedly focused primarily on the issue of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
