A Salisbury woman and a Moberly woman were injured Tuesday afternoon, August 4, in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 24 in Chariton County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at approximately 5:17 p.m. on Highway 24, about four miles east of Salisbury. The 18-year-old woman driving the Kia Forte, of Salisbury, was not wearing a seat belt. The 65-year-old woman driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee, of Salisbury, was wearing a seat belt. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said assistance was provided by the Salisbury Fire Department, the Chariton County Sheriff’s Department, Chariton County First Responders, and another Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper.
