Six persons lost their lives on Tuesday when a speeding black Toyota car crashed into a group of traders and motorcyclists at Umuikaa junction, Isiala South local government area of Abia State, along the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt expressway. The car, which was coming from the Umuahia end of the road, reportedly lost control and crashed into the traders at the junction, with many of the victims being female traders. The car also ran into comercial motorcycle operators who came out for businesses, before ramming into a building. When DAILY POST contacted the Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps , Abia State, C.C. “Yes, it happened at Umuikaa junction”, the Sector Commander said.
