Without the support and influence of Tom Stone and his wife, Margaret Ann Stone, three significant institutions — First Baptist Church Longview, Baylor University, and Buckner International — would never have been what they are today. Survived by his daughter, Karoletha Stone, son, Tom E Stone, III, daughter in law, Karen K Stone, and his granddaughters, Larke and Chelsea Stone. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to First Baptist Church, Longview, Baylor University School of Social Work, and Buckner Children and Family Services. Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Longview on Saturday, August 15 at 2:00 p m. A Memorial Service will be held on August 15, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at First Baptist Church
