Published 2:10 am Wednesday, August 5, 2026GILMER, TEXAS — Jane Blynn Hurt Roberson, born on March 16, 1939, in Gilmer, Texas, passed away on July 30, 2026. Jane found her truest calling in the halls of Gilmer High School, serving for many years as a school counselor. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ed Roberson of Gilmer; son, Ed Roberson and wife Diane of Chappell Hill, Texas; daughter, Blynn Roberson Wilson of Gilmer; brother, Andy Hurt of Gilmer; grandchildren, Brad Roberson, Emily Dib, Chris Roberson, Shelby Blynn Menard and Seth Wilson; along with ten great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Leck and Alice Amos Hurt; brothers, Rex Lawrence Hurt and L.D. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Gilmer Church of Christ.
