Ghana’s leadership has been further validated by the recent 11th Our Ocean Conference, which took place in Mombasa, Kenya, in June 2026. Marking the first time this high-level dialogue was held on African soil, the conference mobilized global leaders around the theme: “Our Ocean, Our Heritage, Our Future.” To reap the benefits of a resilient ocean, it is essential to tackle overfishing and pollution through sustainable practices and local vigilance.
