Lydia was born on October 13, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, to Mauricio S. Jauregui and Eva Gomez Jauregui. During the early years of their marriage, Lydia worked tirelessly to support her family while Jesse pursued his medical education and training. She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Avelar, Refugio Jauregui, Simon Jauregui, Eva Galicia, Luis Jauregui, and Julia Margaret Cortez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, Mauricio S. Jauregui and Eva Gomez Jauregui; her brother, Adam Jauregui; and her sisters, Clotilde Hernandez, Dora Delgado, Margarita Avila, and Pauline Ruiz. Lydia will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, strong faith, and unconditional love for her family.
