Centre Approves 11 Tourism Projects Worth Rs 642 Crore in Rajasthan; Udaipur Included in Heritage Trail Initiative

Udaipur, August 5: The Central Government has approved 11 tourism development projects worth Rs 642 crore in Rajasthan to promote tourism at the global level.
Among these, Udaipur has been included in the Heritage Trail Project, an initiative aimed at the restoration, beautification, and development of historically and culturally significant routes.
The information was shared by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the Lok Sabha in response to a question raised by Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat.
Centre Focusing on Diverse Tourism SegmentsThe Union Minister informed the House that the Ministry of Tourism has prepared national strategies for sustainable tourism, rural tourism, rural homestays, MICE tourism, adventure tourism, medical and wellness tourism, and eco-tourism.
