Crash scene Saturday night (from @everythin345)(CNS): A driver was treated in hospital on Saturday night for non-life threatening injuries following a major crash on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway. The RCIPS said the single-vehicle collision happened at around 9:00pm close to the Lakeside Condo development across from the dump. A silver Toyota Mark X was heading south when it veered off the road and smashed into light pole along the median, causing severe damage to the car and damaging the pole. EMS attended the scene and took the driver to the HSA hospital in George Town and later discharged. However he was breath-tested at the scene beforehand and arrested on suspicion of DUI.
