Sony officially launched the FE 100-400mm F5.6-8 OSS, its latest super telephoto lens. While it is not an Alpha or G Lens, this is the first super telephoto lens Sony has released in the past several years. As per its designation, the FE 100-400mm F5.6-8 OSS is a zoom lens with focal lengths between 100mm and 400mm with adjustable aperture between F5.6 and F8. Glancing through some of the other key features, the FE 100-400mm F5.6-8 OSS is also able to make use of the compression effect, giving pictures the effect of having subjects and the background appearing closer together than they are. The FE 100-400mm F5.6-8 OSS will be available in Malaysia from mid-August with the SRP of RM3,499.
