Rodney Allen Grant, 60, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House. Rodney was born March 30, 1966, in Iredell County and was the son of John Walter Grant and Brenda Sue Dellinger Grant. He attended West Iredell High School and was the owner and operator of Rodney’s Welding. In addition to his parents, Rodney is survived by his daughter, Lena Grant; his son, Rodney Allen Grant Jr.; sister, Shana Grant; brother, John D. Grant; and granddaughter, Nova Grant. Arrangements for Rodney Grant are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
