Lori Leigh Green Smith, 65, of Salisbury, N.C., passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital. Born on September 10, 1960, in St. Petersburg, Fla., Lori was the daughter of the late Charles D. Green and Dorothy Wilmoth Green. Lori found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Lori is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gary Dale Smith; her daughter, Khrystyne Rasmussen (Jeffrey) of Pineville, N.C.; her son, Sean Smith of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Landen Smith, Aiden Smith, and Amelia Smith. She is also survived by her brother, Dale Richard Green (Stacy); her sister, Cheryl Pait (Steven); and her nieces, Chelsea Hosler and Erin Pait.
