One person was airlifted after a car collided into a Mississippi school bus Tuesday afternoon. Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol report that the wreck occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Highway 45 Alternate, just south of Artesia in Lowndes County. Officials say the front of the car was crushed when the car collided with the back of the school bus. The driver of the car was airlifted to a local hospital. The bus had children on board when the crash occurred.
