Sarsfields Rugby, Limerick's LGBTQIA+ inclusive rugby club and the only inclusive rugby club in the Mid West of Ireland, will host the second Lynch Cup on Saturday 15 August 2026 at Young Munster RFC, Tom Clifford Park, Limerick. The Lynch Cup is held in memory of Sarsfields teammate Sarah Lynch, who passed away suddenly in December 2023. The day combines a competitive tag and contact rugby tournament with an evening social event, where players, supporters and the wider rugby community come together to celebrate.
