The shopkeeper, Harsh Antil was left terrified following the ordeal which saw three bottles of gin stolen. Mr Antil was behind the till and Farrell was being aggressive and shouting at him, leading to him calling 999. Another man entered the shop and stole some cans of alcohol and Mr Antil told both men to leave. Mr Lynch explained that Farrell swung the knife towards the defenceless Mr Antil who backed away. Mr Lynch said: "Mr Antil was in fear of his life, he thought he was going to be stabbed and killed."
