Marion, NC - Charles "Chas" Edward Niedermeyer, age 77, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026, at CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville. Born on October 12, 1948, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Chas was the son of Pat Niedermeyer of Marion and the late Ed Niedermeyer. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Lee Lindgren. In a poignant coincidence that remained meaningful to the family, Chas and his sister passed away on the same date, three years apart. Chas was born and raised in Pennsylvania before relocating to Florida, where he spent the majority of his adult life.
