Police immediately began life-saving measures before Boynton Beach Fire Rescue transported the toddler to a nearby hospital, where she remained in critical condition until her death. According to Boynton Beach police, the babysitter had left the residence and placed the children in the care of the babysitter's spouse. Police said the child's sibling told investigators that some of the children's toys had fallen inside the play kitchen.
