(DIPR Photo)Shamator, August 4 (MExN): The fourth Metümnyo Festival Football Tournament, organised by the Sangphur Village Students’ Union in association with the Shamator District Football Association (SDFA) and sponsored by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Nagaland, got underway on August 4. SDFA Vice President Solumba thanked the Sangphur Village Students’ Union for successfully organising the tournament. He said outstanding performers from the tournament would be selected to represent Team Shamator at the forthcoming Dr T Ao Inter-District Football Tournament, scheduled to be held in Mokokchung from October 12 to 30. Earlier, Sangphur Village Students’ Union President Shokheamong delivered the welcome address, while Rev Z Thsankiu, Pastor of Sangphur Village Baptist Church, dedicated the programme.
