(DIPR Photo)Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): A joint meeting of the Special Cell and the District Level Implementation and Monitoring Committee on the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules, 2026, was held at the Deputy Commissioner's office in Dimapur on Tuesday to review implementation of the Rules in the district. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Dr Tinojongshi Chang, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Diana Patton briefed members on the objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementation roadmap under the SWM Rules, 2026. Addressing the meeting, Dr Chang stressed the need for coordinated efforts among all stakeholder departments to ensure effective implementation of the Rules. Officials from the concerned departments attended the meeting and shared updates and suggestions for effective implementation of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026.
